At last, a nice sunny day up here on the mountain after a week of pouring down rain and temperatures not getting above 50 degrees. It would be a great day to go golfing — so he did. Now, I’m not getting my panties all in a wad because he is working hard, after all, and deserves a break from all he is doing to MAGA. I’ve read some really doozy interactions on Facebook this morning on this topic. The ones I most agree with are, “hey, at least we don’t have to be bombarded with his tweets.” My biggest question though, what church did he attend this morning?

FedEx update: Last night I get another email from FedUp and they again say that on Friday they tried to deliver, but no one home and they would deliver the next business day, Wednesday, May 27th. It is an out and out lie. They did not try to deliver and I was home the entire day. Plus, how the hell do they get next Wednesday as the next business day. Yes, Monday is a holiday, but the next business day would be Tuesday. Instead of FedEx they should be F***upExpress. Anyhoo, I did a post on Facebook Friday night and find that I’m not the only one disgusted with them. So yesterday I emailed the winery that is sending me the wine and they emailed me back this morning with this perfect response, “Hi Mike: not the news a winery likes to hear. So sorry. It appears that the Troutdale Fedex distribution center is having issues. We will contact our Fedex agent on Tuesday to handle the situation. Thanks for letting us know. Becky.” Now that my friends is an example of customer service. I’m still gunning for them and am strategizing my next steps. I’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, the missus has a full time job just keeping the hummingbird feeder filled. These little guys are going through our sugar supply like crazy. They sure are fun to watch, though.

I forgot to post this the other night. My Rancho Gordo Bean Club arrival. This is gold.

January 22nd: “It’s just one person coming in from China. We have it totally under control.” February 26th: “When you have 15 people and the 15 within a couple of days will be down to zero.” March 7th: “No, I’m not concerned at all.” Today, May 24th:

Enjoy your day and please listen to this little guy to wear your mask out in public. Ziggyman

  1. You’re not the only person I’ve heard dealing with recent issues from the Troutdale FedEx center. I wonder if they’ve had some COVID issues? A USPS sorting facility in Denver was ordered to shut down due to an outbreak. Seems like transmission would be tough to avoid in any warehouse situation.

    1. I think the issue is probably a rogue driver. He reported that he tried to deliver at 2:14 pm but no one was home to accept, when in fact I was in my living room at 2:14 pm and know that he did not come up my driveway. I have heard from others up here that they have experienced the same deception from FedEx. If they are dishonest enough to lie about something like this, what other nefarious things are they doing with packages?
