Yes, y’all I’m still alive and kickin’, and healthy as can be. I’ve been following the guidelines from the CDC — wearing my mask, washing my hands frequently, and socially distancing when I’m out and about, which isn’t too often. I know, I haven’t written anything for awhile, but now that my bowels aren’t in an uproar everyday because of you know who, I feel I can calmly get back to it. Soooo, keep your station tuned to Mountain Man Musings. I’m back.
The missus and I spent a grateful Thanksgiving by ourselves for the first time in the 51 years we’ve been married, but had a “Grateful Meal” for 2020. After a couple of Manhattans, we sat down to our feast consisting of a 14 pound turkey I smoked on the Big Green Egg, roasted sweet potatoes with a maple syrup glaze, fresh cranberry sauce, turkey gravy from the innards, fresh green bean casserole, chunky mashed potatoes with parmesan cheese, corn bread cranberry muffins, a bottle of 2011 Willakenzie Pinot Noir Aliette, and then finished the evening off with pumpkin creme brule the missus baked the day before and a bottle of champagne.

No matter your political persuasion, it has been a very stressful few months (years), but I hope we can follow the words of a true American leader and begin the process to make America better again. The President-Elect is going to have many challenges ahead of him as he works to make this a UNITED STATES of AMERICA, a nation that is once again seen throughout the world as a global leader and respected for democratic principles. We all need to do our part to “seek the right answer” for making a better future.

Keep smilin’ under that mask you better be wearing. Ramble at ya’ later. Ziggyman
Thank you for note. Glad you guys are well as we are. Miss you guys. Take care. Roger
